In this article, I am going to explain what the best books are; I mean to say what are the standard and reference books which will help in preparation for IIT. By using them you may qualify for India toughest exam for mathematics student. I will only focus to tell about the book and when shall you buy. Also I will tell what the books you can buy in initial stage itself.

My dear friend first make a rule that don’t buy so many book but buy some standard book and practice so many times with same book. It will gear up in preparation of IIT JEE main and advanced.

If you are from CBSE board student then you might have refreshed all concept mentioned in NCERT book, still you have doubt then clarify it with you concerned faculty and must refresh the concept of at least NCERT chemistry book and may be NCERT Physics. It is best book and every should have it from initial stage itself. If you have solved it in class 12^th, then it is well and good. If you feel that I am trigonometry champion then you can buy Trigonometry by S.L Loney which will tell where you are. By solving this, really you can judge you self, where do I stand now. This book has a miscellaneous problems and solving it is worth.

Dear friend I am going to tell some alternate book, It is not applicable for all student, It is for those who have solved initial stage book then only can go for next level book, You may have next book but solve only when you have solved problem of initial stage book. If you are good in coordinate geometry and try some challenging problem then you may try SL LONEY coordinate geometry book. This is great book especially for conic sections. Hall and knight algebra book may be good choice if you are champion in Algebra. Berman for calculus will be good choice if you have already RD Sharma book and want to try some other problem, you may go for it.

Dear friend, that is not mandatory but good to have. You can buy Fitjee material. Practice Series by Dasgupta or Arihant series book and don’t forget to solve all 10 years II JEE paper. This is must for each and every student, Even this questions will be included in you coaching material already but you should have set of all 10 years paper and solve it.

Concept Of Physics By HC Verma Vol 1

Concepts of physics Vol 1&2 by H.C Verma: Price

Let’s talk about Physics, I recommend only Concepts of physics Vol 1&2 by H.C Verma for each and every student for initial stage. All students should have this book whether he is strong or weak in physics. I heard Fundamentals of Physics—by Resnick-Halliday that is equally good book but buy only when you have finished H.C Verma book. This is same kind of concept building book like H.C Verma so personally I will not recommend having two books at same time.

If you finish H.C Verma book in class 11th itself then you can try it otherwise there is no worth. For solving of various type of physics question I think D.C Pandey book is good choice. If you want to go for higher level then you can try for KLEPPNER AND KOLENKOW. This is for Olympiads so make sure what your level in physics is.

Dear friend this book are not applicable for every student why I mentioned here is just for you information and if you are really good in Physics, you may go for it. Electromagnetism by DJ GRIFFITHS is also great book and it is at Olympiads level. For mechanics section, you can try for irodov that is also Olympiads level. At least you can try some of chapter from this book like mechanics, SHM fluids, thermodynamics electro stats, current, electricity, capacitance and modern physics. If you want more difficult level question than irodov then you can go for krotov that is really for Olympiads but here you want to get good rank in IIT so you might have not much time to go through it. Like mathematics, you have to solve all previous year paper that is mandatory for each and every student.

Let’s talk about chemist subject, in Chemistry, there are different section and all section are equally important. For Inorganic Chemistry Coaching material is life line. You must have to have NCERT textbooks for qualifying IIT JEE mains exam. if you are done with NCERT then you can go for JD LEE. It is for Olympiads but recommended for those student who are good already in Inorganic Chemistry.

O.P Tandon , Solomons and Fryhle may be good option for those guys who want to do extra and already you have done with previously mentioned book.

P Bahadur for physical chemistry: Price

For physical P Bahadur and O.P . tendon is sufficient. I would prefer P Bahadur because of less time consuming book and having good collection of questions.
